The Daily Christian Walk

Many of us are looking for God's intervention to get us out of the messy circumstances of life or the painful situations that we face. However, God seems to have something else in mind. We want the extraordinary. He wants to teach us about the ordinary. He wants to teach us to be aware of His constant presence and provision in the ordinary, daily routines of life.
We keep trudging along, trying to do the best that we can, and all the while He wants us to understand that He should be the source of our instruction, wisdom, guidance and strength to face whatever we must face each day of our lives. He is our source of victory. He is our companion in all of our trials, situations, circumstances, and even the mundane and the routine.
Our daily walk must be centered in Him and who He is according to Scripture. Our daily walk is not be centered in who we are in and of ourselves, not in our abilities, our efforts or our desires. If we want to have a victorious Christian walk daily, we must look unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith. We must count on Him to do and be all that He has promised. He has promised never to leave us or forsake us. We must live in daily dependence that He will be with us and sustain us as we face each day, whatever each day may bring.
